Studies of Plants.
The plant pot series is a staple and an idiosyncratic motif, I find difficult not to create.
Many different varieties, colours and features all bound by the influence of the plant life I’ve witnessed.
It’s apt to say ‘growing up on the farm’ (as plants do) is the key reason I produce images related to plant life now.
When I was younger I yearned for city concrete, big noise and unpredictable metropolitan stimulus.
Completely ignoring the joys of what surrounded me. Each year around the sun, I notice that want becoming more transparent and the need to acknowledge nature's development grows stronger. The colourful plant life in my oeuvre began appearing in 2023 -
