Artistic disciplines of painting, draftsmanship and digital. Using a variety of different mediums from oil paints and pastels to acrylic Inks and aerosols. Henry privately began making artwork in 2018. By 2020 making art turned into a daily practise. At Twenty-five Henry works part-time in a variety of roles whilst continuing to produce commissions and original art.

Covering subjects of mankind's relationship with the natural world and the fragility attached to both of these elements; Beach's images often have reoccurring motifs: figures, plant life and other objects of interaction. 'A study of plants' is an exploration of mediums, a series rooted by the isolation of the plant pot and the table/floor upon which it sits.

Although, self-taught, the artist's study of a variety of contemporary/old masters and perpetual research of other creative areas such as fashion, music and jewellery design - all contribute to his output and wide-varying images.

Daily practise for Henry begins with drawing early in the day, painting in daylight (when possible) and through into the night.

________

The artist states his work was "born out of searching for an absolution,
a coping mechanism and meaning for reoccurring overthought".

"Often the images I draw in my books show their meaning a day, a week or months later - what I mean to say is that, usually once i've finished a drawing (which I'm pleased with aesthetically) it will have a depth to it, that's not immediately obvious. Perhaps, something i've seen during the week, thought very late at night or viewed whilst in the car - revisits the mind's eye and jumps onto the blank in-front of me."

Going into a new image, It's meaning isn't usually pre-meditated, its as if the intended image forces it's way into view. Often returning and overpainting until the momentum disappears and the magnet is found.
